·         Before you read question start to get them to use the grammar and see what they are going to read about pg. 189
·         Have ss to read individually and then we read as a class
·         T has ss answer after you read, and we check together to see how much they understood pg. 190
·         Ss copy grammar presentation (permission: can, could, may, do you mind if) pg. 191-193
o    Ss write a summary of grammar notes

·         Ss answer pg. 90 of workbook and t has them write 10 sentences using the grammar
·         As a class we answer discover the grammar on page 194 and 195
o    Homework page 91 and 92 of workbook
Wednesday
·         Teacher collect workbooks and ask ss to work on page 196 and 197 t helps ss with questions they may have along the way. T hangs their workbook in.
·         T ask ss to correct and ask ss to go to the board and write their answers
·         Ss work on page 92 
Thursday
·         T tells ss to get into pairs and has them do page 199 of student book if ss finish they will do page 93 of workbook
Friday
·         I will have ss come up with a situation and reason they will ask for permission
o    Example my computer isn’t working. I want to borrow my roommate’s laptop.

·         they will have to write out conversation and act out their part
